I love making things. Book binding, clay sculpting, exploring in the kitchen and my own line of handmade jewelry. Everything from concept to execution to completion of every project keeps me in the zone. My work is meditative, a place where I combine inspiration with focus. During every step in the process, I stay present and mindful, which adds my own personal touch and finesse. The end result will be beautiful, but to me, it's all about how I get there.
From conceptual to commercial to custom jewelry, I approach my design practice with curiosity, charisma and elegance. For fifteen years, I've worked with a wide a variety of clients from Chevy, to the United States Postal Service to small business owners. I take pride in treating every project with enthusiasm and a fresh perspective.
When working with clients, my greatest talent - and what's most important to me - is listening to their unique vision and using my skills to bring it into fruition. In this way, every project is a true collaboration.
Growing up in Russia gave me a unique perspective that helps me see things from an outsider's point of view. My cultural background has given me an authentic way of seeing the world beyond immediate impressions. From an early age, I developed an active creative imagination that keeps me inspired. My greatest inspiration was my grandmother, a true artist. Taking after her gives my life purpose and makes my work meaningful.
I currently live and work in Portland, Oregon.
